What is USP 795?
USP 795 is increasingly recognised and governs operations in the non-sterile area of pharmaceutical compounding. In Australia for example, USP 795 is of importance to every compounding pharmacy - as compounders across the country are producing all types of non-sterile medicines.
What is USP 797?
USP 797 covers operations for compounders performing sterile compounding in their facility and is gazetted by a no. of countries in their Sterile Compounding guidelines as one of the acceptable standards.
What is USP 800?
This is the new standard that covers hazardous materials handling and personnel as in inextricably attached to USP 795 and USP 797 compliance. For example, this is the new standard that will apply to every compounding pharmacy in Australia.
