Title: Clinical Pharmacy Therapeutic Updates

To promote further development and specialisation in pharmacy, Malaysian Academy of Pharmacy will be conducting a series of Therapeutics Updates Tutorials. This tutorial is opened to all who have a special interest in pharmacotherapy. It aims to provide up-to-date knowledge in pharmacotherapy so that pharmacists in the clinical practice can acquire a strong base of knowledge and be competent healthcare professionals at their work fields.

The invited speakers are BCPS certified or experienced pharmacists in the respective field. They will share their experience and knowledge based on the latest reference materials, including those from the ACCP, to facilitate your preparation towards becoming a BCPS .

Special highlight

It is our honour to have well-known international speaker, Assoc. Prof Surakit Nathisuwan from Faculty of Pharmacy, Mahidol University (Thailand). He is Board Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist since 2001. With years of expertise in clinical pharmacy, he has established cardiology pharmacy services especially anticoagulation clinic. Furthermore, he plays a key role in establishing Doctor of Pharmacy program, postdoctoral training (residency and fellowship) and advancing pharmacists competency in patient-oriented care in Thailand. Not only he will share his knowledge & experience in clinical practice but also on the journey of pharmacist specialisation in Thailand.

Members of the Malaysian Academy of Pharmacy will be able to attend the morning session On the Road Towards Pharmacist Expert Workshop (15th Jul: 8.30am – 11.30am) complimentary when they also attend the AGM of the Academy at on 15th July
