Kindly note that registration also entails certain obligations to comply with on collection and usage of personal data, or patient data.

The MPS Legal Advisor suggested that all should register first with the PDPA Department.  They informed that after registration, you will have access to a forum.  Do participate in the forum so that you will know more about the PDPA and you may also ask questions and as to what you need to do specific to your own pharmacy.

The underlying principle for this Act is that when you collect the personal data of the patient, you are not to use it for any purpose other than for what you are collecting it for in the first place.
